Ugh, now an ear infection

Lovely, right? And, of course this is Paul we are talking about. He was up for 3 hours (yes, three!) last night. Woke up very grumpy and cranky so off to the peds we went, again! Ear infection in his right ear again. Can we all please get better? My house is a disaster, I need a spring cleaning!

Polka Dot Paul

Poor Paul woke up yesterday with red bumps all over his legs (and really bad on his calves). Nothing new or different really in the past week I'd say for him food wise. Took him to the doc and she suggested antihistamine and to look out for ankle swelling (like we'd be able to tell he's so chubby) or ankles turning blue/purple. He is also fairly cranky and had some fluid in his ear, but no infection. Oh, and I guess officially they are called hives. Never have I had hives or any of my children. Baby number three is tons of fun huh? Oh, and he is a whopping 25 lbs (see Mom he doesn't weigh 30!).

In other news, I merged my recipe blog posts onto this blog. I have loads more recipes I want to share too, and even more I want to make! Now to find lots of extra time!

Snow 2010

I can’t believe we have had snow in Georgia two years in a row!  And this time, it wound up being lots and lots of snow.

But it started with just a few flurries.  See them?  Yeah, not really, but the kids were excited to get out and dance and run in them anyways!

And eat a few!

They got cold and came back inside for a while.  But it started coming down a bit more, so back out they went.

They came back in again for a bit, we had dinner and then there was enough snow for some big fun.  Luke did his fatherly duty (which he says was not fun) and made a snowman with the kids.

The beginnings of a snowman.

Okay, remember snowman, not snow mountain.

Now we’re rolling, literally!

John had enough of the snow business.  Cold and wet!

They came in for a little while and Luke continued working on the snowman.  They went back out when it was almost done, helped put the Mr. Potato Head pieces on for the face, and took this pic.

Paul and I hung out and made hot chocolate for the cold gang.  It was the perfect ending to the snowy day.

I need to finally post this!

I got these off the camera the other day. Finally got youtube to upload them, and now they have been sitting in an open blog post!

Here is the mobile 9 month old! He can’t crawl but man can he roll! He has even crawled over to our cracked bathroom door and rolled in! He cleans my hardwood floors pretty good. Ruthanne had her first piano recital last Saturday. She was pretty nervous and worried. I got her to do it (and she even let me be there) by promising a trip to Monkey Joes (bouncy house place), which we did on Wednesday. Here are a couple pics from the recital:

Here she is playing “Follow the Prophet” at home. She has actually memorized it since this performance and plays it much better now.

The boys who love to play together.

Poor John, he always gets neglected on the blog it seems (poor middle child). But, here is a funny story:

Ruthanne says, “Paul is the only one in the family with bangs.”

John says, “Paul’s not a vampire!”

Yeah, we know, he has bangs, not fangs!
