Its been almost a week since Ruthanne was baptized and I’m just now getting a few minutes to blog. First off it was a great day, Ruthanne was ready to be baptized and we were able to have a lot of our families come to be there. I wish I could say that it was all peaceful and I had everything impeccably planned so that we had a nice leisurely morning and everything was packed days in advance; alas it was not so. In addition Paul had to throw a humongous fit about getting dressed before it was time to go.
We did manage to take some photos before we left for the baptism.
Ruthanne on her new bench.
Ruthanne with Mimi and Poppa.
Ruthanne with Grandma and hairy Grandpa.
Our family.
Ruthanne and Luke outside the church.
Ruthanne and Mamom.
My Mom and Dad took a bunch of photos with their camera and things were too crazy after the baptism that I didn’t get a chance to download them to my computer (I will someday).
Ruthanne is happy to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and receive the gift of the Holy Ghost and we are proud of her decision to be baptized!

Congrats! By the way, Carla, I LOVE your dress! Where did you get it???? So vintage! You look like an adorable 50's housewife!
Thanks Stephany it was a sears $15 clearance item from last fall I think. It is a great dress for bettering the figure!
